So the gal is pretty awesome. She’s smart, funny, cool, gorgeous, yadda yadda yadda. The only problem is it seems like only one of us tells the other that. It’s not really in her personality to compliment other people, which is fine, but it at times makes me feel like she doesn’t give a rip or really likes me or desires me or whatever. The best I’ve gotten out of her is “i like you the way you are” which is nice and I appreciate that, but it seems like it’s more of a oh yeah i can tolerate you while i check out guys who look better shirtless than you do or kind of an oh fine i’ll settle for you. She’s had a bit of a rough time lately so maybe I should be more sensitive of that but it seems a little early for the compliments and saying how hot/sexy/cool/whatever the other is to be a one way street.
