please rest easy. while i think bobby valentine is a total moron the reality is that he is no dumber than probably 25 managers in baseball. managers don’t do much differently in terms of in game strategy (especially considering the best strategy for a manager to employ is to do nothing at all), so they all hurt their teams a relatively equal amount.

in fact, i am willing to bet that because of how many injuries the red sox had last year that valentine will be a manager of the year candidate simply due to regression.

so really, stop worrying. but i still hate 99% of you.
